New Series – Meditative Landscapes

I’ve just started working on a new series based on images I see when I meditate titled, appropriately enough, Meditative Landscapes.  Here are the first two in the series . . .

July 1, 2011 – Open Studio Night!

Come visit me at the Harrison Center for the Arts tonight for Open Studio Night!  I’ll be in my studio from 6pm-9pm, located outside the main gallery on the second floor landing.  Great show in the 4 other galleries at the Harrison as well!

The Harrison Center is located at the corner of 16th and Delaware, downtown Indy, behind Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

new series

I’ve been busy working on a new series . . . the Guardians.  When you look at them, you may first see a house, then possibly a house with legs.  And what’s up with the circle that looks like a head?  To me, they’re light houses, beacons, guides . . . guardians.  Some appear as angels, others not.  You can see them for the first time in person at the Carmel International Arts Festival this coming weekend (9-25/26-2010)!

This long running festival in downtown Carmel is great for everyone – music, cultural events, food, and some of the best art/artists around.

dates/times: Saturday September 25th 10am-6pm and Sunday September 26th 10am – 5pm.

49th Annual Krasl Art on the Bluff

This weekend, July 10th and 11th, I’ll be in St Joe Michigan participating in the Krasl Art on the Bluff Festival.

Great art, food, and the Lake Michigan beach – what could be better?  And it’s only a short 3 hour drive north of Indianapolis.  I’m in booth #120.  I hope you’ll come visit!

2nd Friday Open Studio Night – April 9th

Open Studio Night at the Harrison Center for the Arts is on 2nd Friday this month due to the holiday weekend.  Come visit – I’ve been fruit-obsessed and busy creating some new stuff!  Time:  6pm – 9pm

First Friday Open Studio Night – March 5th!

Please join me at the Harrison Center for the Arts for the Spring Open Studio Night on March 5th.  All artist studios are open quarterly and this is the night!  March’s open studio night will be held in conjunction with FoodCon, which will be going on in the gym.  Also in the Underground will be Doug Arnholter hosting his Mural of the World project – paint and donate for food for Haiti!

Indiana Art Fair – February 20 & 21, 2010

Come visit the first art fair of the season!  The Indiana Art Fair is in its 7th year and continues to be a great venue for fine arts and fine crafts.

I’ll be in the third floor walkway, booth #3-63.  Hours are 9-5 on Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday.
